Changed the original DV to 710N. Engine growls more, not sure if there is a change in pickup. Interestingly, my car used to make a noise like a leaking tire when shut off but doesn't anymore.

Snub mount made a big difference, both good and bad. A lot more vibration at idle. Before, however, when I downshifted it felt like the engine moved about an inch under the chassis. Now it is quite tight.

 

Which snub mount did you install? Usually if it vibrates it means it's not seated quite right.

APR often requires trimming so that it is not making contack with its housing.

 

Man, how hard is it for them to just make the part fit right?
