I'm frickin losted...I ordered the Vag-com from Ross-Tech...you know the $15.00 USD one...and I juss got it in the mail..I installed the saftware from the disc they provide..and load up the program..connect the OBD cable to my car..and try to run the test....and BAM....it says Port Status: Ok --Interface:Not found
Please help guys..I know alot of you have the vagcom cable...soo how do I use it..???

you need to set the Com's port till it works I think its Com's 3 and $15 dosnt get you a working software from VAG.com it will be from eBay so all the functions wont work till you get the licence which is $99

 

You didn't order a vagcom from ross tech. They don't do ebay, and their product costs about 250 dollars and include updated full working software.

 

You need the drivers for your cable - contact whoever you purchased the cable from. You might think you purchased the cable from Ross-Tech but a true Ross-tech cable is $250. you can use the ross-tech program with a cheap cable - but the program is just shareware and doesn't function fully.
