Default ode to the miles

I'D LIKE TO KNOW YOUR ODOMETER READINGS... AND AT WHAT MILEAGE DID YOU HAVE WHAT PROBLEM. I'VE ONLY HAD THE CAR A LITTLE WHILE AND I'VE GOT 109K, THE FUSE FOR THE RADIO BLEW(FIXED IT) AT NIGHT I CANT SEE 60MPH-120MPH/VOLTAGE ON THE GAUGE GUESSING BULBS BLEW JUST NOT WANTING TO DEAL WITH THAT MYSELF RIGHT NOW... AND IN THE MOURNING OR WHEN I START THE CAR FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE DAY IT REVS HIGH AT ABOUT 1200 AND THE ENGINE MAKES THIS HIGH KNIFE SHARPENING NOISE FOR A FEW LIKE 50SECONDS THEN DROPS TO 800 AND SOUNDS FINE? BTW AT A GLANCE HOW DO YOU TELL THE DIFF BETWEEN A 12V AND A 30V... LOVE THE CAR SO FAR!

you have a 98.5, yours is a 30V. the 12V stopped in 97. i have 138k on mine. just replaced the whole tranny, tie rod ends, cv joints, timing belt (should be done every 60k). the idling at 1200 i believe is normal, warm idling at 800 is definitely normal. the noise youre hearing i don't know, you'll have to be more specific. does it get louder as the engine revs? does it go away after a while? is it definitely coming from the engine bay? pop the hood and see if you can isolate the sound. it may be low power steering fluid, in which case the sound will get louder when you turn the wheel.

the sound goes away after a minute when the car warms up... it sounds like a rusty fan knife sharping type comes from somewhere on the passenger side of the engine bay. it doesnt change with moving the steering wheel i'll pop the hood today and get down to specifics. thanks so far

I got my car with 109 K
so far I changed the rear 02 sensors and MAF sensor and some ruptured lines. Oh and the rear window mechanism thing. About $800-$900 worth of stuff in less than a year; so maintenence is on the pricy side.
