Default OEM orange corners

First off, hi i'm a new member. i have been browsing this site for months but been to lazy to make an account but i finally got tired of not being able to search for things. so i was just wondering if there was anyone out there like myself who appriciate/ prefer the oem orange corners opposed to clear corners.

Likewise. Welcome to the forums, bud. [sm=welcomesign.gif]

Since we're on the subject (warning: possible inadvertant threadjack)
Has the Audi community decided which type of clear corner mod is easier???
The cook at 250 degrees version, or the dremel and touch-up version found in this link HERE. ??

I'm planning on doing mine tomorrow before the SoCal GTG on Sunday.

I havent really heard too much 'bout the cooking mod -
last time I heard someone ask about it - everyone started flaming things like "you need to add paprika
& add potatoes etc. etc."

I'd suggest the drill mod - but just be careful & take your time.. that way you dont get any shards etc. stuck in there...
Good luck! cant wait to see how it turns out.

Damn it.

The drill mod was the one I was rooting AGAINST.
I may be a chickensh*t and talk to the guys at the meet before I do it.
If I screw up my new toy I'll hang myself.

I never understood all the excitement around clear corners. Personally I wouldn't bother.

Haha I remember that. I went the drilling/silicon resealer route. Not too bad at all.
