Default OEMHID kit dosent fit??

I bought a a8 hid kit from oemhid and for the life of me I cant make it fit. The ballast wont fit flush under the housing like it should and the igniter wont fit inside the projector side of the housing. I can prolly mount the ballast in the engine compartment somewhere since the wires are fairly long but the only way I can fit the igniter is if I keep the plastic cap off the housing where the bulb goes in and then it wont be airtight. Any suggestions? I emailed oemhid before I bought them and they said the a8 and the rs6 kits would bolth work but the A8 lit would be easier to istall. Please help I want hid soooooo bad.

You cant leave the backcover off. What problem do you have exactly?

Both A8 and RS6 would work, here are the differences:
1) A8 kit is easier to install, because the ignitor will not block the back of the projector as it is separated from the bulb holder. But the ballast is bigger and you cannot fit it underneath the headlight housing.

2) RS6 kit has a smaller ballast so you can fit them underneath the housing but it is harder to install because you would have to modify the back of the projector a little before you can mount the ignitor/bulb holder block. You would have to make sure that the ignitor/block are secure so that arcing would not happen.
