I was wondering if anybody knew how oemhid's one year warranty worked. Does it apply only to the ballasts or to the entire kit? I purchased and installed a H7 kit on my B5 about a month ago and tonight one of the hid bulbs went out. I was surprised at the short lifespan since even normal halogens would last a lot longer than a month. Would oemhid replace the bulb for me or should I start looking for 6000K 35W bulbs elsewhere? Thanks.

 

im not sure what the warranty covers but the bulb should certainly last longer than that.

 

i think it's the ballast....switch the bulbs to different ballast to check.

 

Oemhid is usually very good to deal with so exchange shouln't be a problem if the bulb is burnt out. But as auDi1.8TQ said check the ballast too.
