the exhaust

what do ya guys think? for the 2.8 motor

 

I was considering getting that exhaust from that website but decided to go custom. The Oettinger setup at that link is only an axle back system. I decided that for $560 I could do a nice custom or spend a few more dollars and get a cat back system.

 

i think i am going to go custom with liek maybe 2.75" piping and sport cats and highflow muffler. There are not alot of options for us 2.8ers

 

what kind of muffler? remus? ive heard good things and sounds from them

 

im not sure, i am going to see what the guy that does the custom uses and then decide. Maybe remus.

 

I've heard remus on a couple VR6's... one of them was pretty done up, sounded like a bloody porsche... one of the nicest sounding exhausts you can get. That being said, I saw something that compared a bunch of exhausts, and remus had the least gains.
