We cant really help much until you get the codes read.

Go to autozone, they will read the codes for free, then come back here and post what you found.

X2 on the AZ code scan. Get the codes and look them up on the web.

Your oil leak is probably from a leaky valve cover gasket.

got an idea...... Instead of depending on other people to do the research for you, you can pay me $100 an hour and I'll tell you everything you need to know about fixing your car. OR you can reasearch stuff for YOURSELF.

call a d@mn mechanic and ask him how much he charges. OR you can call the dealership for recalls on the ignition switch which is why my CEL kept turning on.

A little tip: Patience grasshopper, the forums sometimes take time to respond and we don't like getting yelled at. Read, Educate Yourself, and be a little more relaxed.

I live in Columbus Ohio, and I have gone to autozone a few times and done this. Never had any problems like that. They always would test it for ya.

Then, I just bought one for like $125, and it has been very useful as it works on all 96 and newer vehicles.

Mechanics charge like 50-75 to do this around here. Its worth owning if you have the money to buy one. Its also easy to use.

You just plug in under the steering wheel and turn the key on.

You don't need to get your car fixed, you need to go to grammar school.
