Oh Jeeze
Talking about bad luck. Not even a week after getting my car out of the shop from tranny problems, it's going back into the shop...luckily for a different reason, and it's not gonna cost me anything, but still in the shop, away from me. I was backed into, while stopped at a stoplight. How stupid of the driver, and on top of that, they are a family friend, so I couldn't flip out on them how they're an idiot. Well, anyways the damage isn't too bad, but it still bent/dented my hood, fender, bumper, and passanger headlight. Do you think I'll be able to get some Lltek headlights as insurance replacements instead of the eBay ones? That would be sweet. Anyways, does anyone know how much the tab on those parts would cost? I don't want ANY bondo on my fine, quality German engineered automobile
so it's going to be 100% replacement.
so it's going to be 100% replacement.
Insurance will not pay you for lltek versions - they will pay you the amount that new ones would be from the audi dealer. price should be just about even - get them to pay you the $$$ and go to lltek. I would also suggest picking up an RS4 style front bumper from lltek - make the best out of the situation. good luck on getting your insurance company to fork over the $$ to you instead of a auto body shop.
have your body shop order the parts u want from lltek and say that the money is going towards OE replacements if asked.... thats what i did.... i got my body kit, headlights, hood and grille, all with my insurance money.... of course u have 2 find a good body shop that is "sneaky"
I like the RSR front bumper a little better than the RS4. I have no idea how much OEM body parts cost though. All the internet sites I've checked don't sell the metal, just little parts like trim and what not. Good thinking though
