lo its doesnt take that much effort to know that stuff if you grow up with it, i was rebuilding motors by the time i was 12 and by the time i was 15 i could have the 302 out, rebuilt, and back in, in an afternoon.....


oh and on another note.... you know those light weight pullies are no good for the 1.8t they have cause some serious problems with the motors causing some major damages

i dont remember where i saw it i know it was on the zine though and they were pretty adament that putting those on will hurt the motor, i dont know for sure just what i saw

So Where did you hear the lightweight pulleys cause problems, do you have any clue what type of problems??

Which pully is that. If its the crank pully, the weight of the pully actulay acts as a dampner to the harmonics in the motor, there for removing the pully will alow the harmonics possibly damaging the main bearings. and then the car will really need to be taken apart.

ford 302, the chevy 302 is really uncommon and you hardly see them in anything its almost always a 305 or 350

yeah i too have heard the lightweight pulleys can mess up the balance in the engine... hell why dont u just bore it out to a 2.0 while u gots it that tore down! F the DIY on that one

302 chevys were only in first and second gen z28 camaros...i too was raised in a garage
