I confused, not that is unusual. I read all kinds of advice about oil but most of the time it's for the 1.8T. My question is simply: What is the best weight oil for 1996 12v 2.8L? Also are any brands perferred over others. Thanks

 

i use 5w-30 synthetic...i have used mobil 1 valvoline and now amsoil. i also have the 12v engine.
