The last time that i changed my oil was back in november, its not low or nothing, but my car's lifter tick seems that its gotten louder, people told me to change my oil?
i only put like 1500 mile on it, how often to u have to change ur oil, and were and what kind of oil filter should i get?
olso do i need a special key to take out the filter or can i do it with my hands,

but i just want to know how often do i have to change it, do i change it by miles or if i didnt put enough miles on it how often do i change it,

 

I change mine every 3-4k miles.
I use the updated large OEM filter.
Ful synthetic is a must

 

every 3000 to 5000 when using full synthetic - use mobil one or amsoil

 

i did put all synthetic, but if in 3 months i havent put 3000 miles on it do i still have to change it or not, becouse by the time ill put 3000miles on it will be november again, and it will be 1 year, since i changed it, dont u think i should change it earlier,

If you use regular oil every 3k or every 3 months whichever comes first. Synthetic up 5k, I would also say 3 months

 

You guys know you can get 7-8k with syn oil right? There are a few oil test on vortex to show results.

 

If your lifters are getting more noisey i would run seafoam before your next oil change, that will help clean out all the crap that may be building up in the oil holes to the lifters. Try that and see if that changes the sounds

 

filter wont go 8k will it?
