I do all my own oil changes. No, it will not void the warranty. As long as you use VAG-approved oil, you'll be ok. In your case, since you have a 2.0, use synthetic.

On my 2002 a4t. that sufferedengine sludging. I contacted Audinorth Americadirectly with that same question, I was told that I could NOT do my own oil change, i had to have it done at a repair facility, I suggest you call to clarify, and get the reps name/number when you do.

If you get your oil changed at Audi and your car does get sludge and you keep all the reciepts they will replace your engine.

It should be fine i let them just put whatever in. Your car is under warranty so if it breaks its there fault.

i know but i'm way too brainwashed with mobil 1. i think it's the best major oil. i plan to buy out the car after the lease too so i just want to have the best in the engine.

plus i already bought 5liters of it.
