Today when i was checking my oil, I noticed that the little orange plastic casing around the handle was broken.. so when i stick the dip stick in the tube it doesnt fit tightly... its kind of loose... Is that something i Should Worry About? and does anyone know where they sell that?

happened to me already...just get a new dip stick at da dealership...i work for ford and da audi dealership is next door..... it cost me $11.00 wit me discount...ur looking at around $15 to $20

 

The part you need cost me about $2 at an import auto parts shop. ecstuning.com has them real cheap as well.
Its just plastic ends that go on the dipstick and the oil tube.

 

Maybe fun getting it to fit again wehn u get the new plastic peices but that stuff is cheap. Im sure there is a DIY around that can tell you how to replace

 

Ive broken 2 in 4months. So dont worry about it. Just go to the dealer and get one. or from ecs.

 

A diy for fixing the dipstick is about as usefull as a DIY for how to take a ****. Its pretty straight forward.
