Changed the oil today and during my inspection of the bottom of the engine I noticed some oil on the DV and the hose that comes out from the bottom of the DV. I checked everywhere and cant figure out where it came from. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Could it have been the egr?

 

It's normal to have a little oil there. It comes from the breather assembly which comes from the head.
You'll notice some oil in your intercooler as well. It's normal.

 

it was on the outside of the dv and the hose below it. Like it dripped from somewhere and landed on the dv. I looked everywhere and I cant find a leak. I think it may be the front seal so I am going to take off the timing belt and all the covers and check it out this weekend
