Default Oil Overfill :(

Okay I confess I overfilled the oil by about 1/2 cm on the dipstick What kind of damage did I do? There is an annoyingly loud gargle sound in the exaust and I think the acceleration is a bit slower.

thanks for the advice. my next question is is that gargling sound coming from the exaust truly oil and will clear itself up in good time or what else would make that noise?

I was a manager at a shop for a while, and industry standard on a dipstick is being able to fill it 1 qt over full (another length of the hashmarks on your dipstick) before it could cause any damage. You should be fine where you're at, or if you're like me and **** about your car (i hope you are, you drive an Audi man!), just pull the drain plug for about 3 seconds, and plug it back up. Its a messy process, but the most effective unless you have an evacuator handy (what we usually used at my shop on overfills). Hope it helps!
