Yeah the one time i hit 105, i was running away from missles shot at me from a riced outhondacivic because the driver was jeleous of my sweet ride..so he shot missles at me and i barelyout ran them(so it would kinda be nice to have a higher top speed)..but that only happens every once in a while.

What if your running from a tornado then is it dangerous? But yeah i would never redline in 5th gear going 100+ its just plain stupid.

lol, i believe our cars rev out at around 160 ish mph. with the k03 (chip...) we may have the horsepower to hit like 140. but that would be hard and take time. with the turbo you could easily hit the revlimiter in 5th gear but thats just plain dangerous

when its cool out. let me know if top speed increases with the gt28rs. i'd like to put one in so i can get up to that speed faster, don't really care to go much faster.dont need one moreticket with promise to appear.

Yeah when we both get ours set up..we should meet up and race or go to a track..im from kansas if you are close to me at all..i dont want to go to the drag strip, i want to go on an actual track w/ turns and that kinda fun stuff. mine is gonna be a while..prob like 2 months untill its all the way done...and i want get new suspension and breaks and all that fun stuff!!!

i think it will only increase if your chip will let you go up in rpms. when i got GIAC it went from 6500 or 7000 to 7100.
so when you are tuned with a chip it should increase your top speed if it raise your rev. limit.

your top speed is determined by the tranny, power, rim size, and wind drag. you cant go past what the tranny can do but our trannies max out a little under 160 i think. so with a gt28rs and some 17 or 18 inch rims you should be able to get around 150.
