Ok, here is problem.

I have (2) lights on my cluster right now

Light 1=ABS LIGHT
Light 2=Brake Pad (I HAVE ALOT OF PAD LEFT)


On my car the Sensor splits into (2) at the end

1st I tried taking it off myself (didnt work)

Then the dealer offered for free where I bought my car (they couldnt do it)

So I took it to an EUROPEAN SHOP. They said 210 for labor.- - - But then the guy said the "SENSOR" has nothing to do with my ABS light being on. I questioned that.... When I tried to fix it . . . I looked whoever did the job last ripped the wires which was why I needed a new one. (only the brake pad light was coming on) But when I tried to take out the "SILVER METAL PIECE" - - see picture. My abs light came on.


Possible the whole unit is bad? is the sensor in the picture take care of BOTH? ? ? Is that guy at that EUROPEAN SHOP WRONG?

VAG-COM or Autozone. It should tell you exactly what's wrong.

I believe the metal piece is the ABS speed sensor and the other is for your brake pads.
