I removed the two hex-srews on the fender. Now, what bolts do I need to remove on the front in order to take the bumper completely off???

there are two bolts that are long under the bumper by where the fogs would go, remove these. and push down then up on each side of the bumper then pull, takes practice and force, dont be timid. here thids may help.

click on the second one that reads "Replacing the Timing Belt (A4 1.8t)"

Are you seriously doing this to get your lights out? So unneccessary. Crazy crazy.

Ah well, gotta learn how to take the bumper off someday, I guess.

 

Chris, on pre 99.5s there more work involved. I love being able to loosen 3 torque heads and being down.

 

^^Yep, <99 is different 99.5 starts the one piece headlight.

Why did you go two piece, one piece looks alot better. What kind of headlights did you get, post pics.
