Hi everyone, well i will be selling my car this week. I have seen two cars for sale, both are 2005 A4's. here's the info:

2005 A4 sedan
133k km on the clock
auto.
has 1.8T engine

2005 A4 wagon
145k km on the clock
auto
has 3.0L engine

i wanted to know which would you choose and why? I like wagons but it has a bit more milage. The sedan has less milage but has smaller engine...
any advice would be great...thanks

oh ya, both are quattro.

 

I would got with the sedan with the 1.8t. Has better gas milage and having the turbo more it has alot more tuning and mod capability. But if you don't plan on Modding it go with the wagon if that's what you like.

 

Hi, don't know about modding right now. If both cars have been well maintained, which would be more reliable and rewarding? I had my current car modded and don't plan or doing that again ..for now . Haha

 

I think it comes down to if you want a wagon or not. That's what I was looking for when I got mine, but hard to find up here. A little better mileage in the 1.8 but I love the 3.0 and I still get 30 on the hwy if I'm easy on the throttle.

update..
well i went out to look at a car today and looked realllly nice!!!!
It's a 2006 A4 wagon with the 2.0T engine. It has 113k km on the clock.
I hear these engines are a good choise, pretty reliable, and a good comprimise on fuel consumption/power..
what do you think? it was in good cosmetic shape. I don't have much info, just the sellers declairation. It was on a used car lot and the car came from auction.
