#1 is the oil pan I believe, I see the drain plug right there next to your arrow. The transmission is further back. If you aren't losing oil from the engine, then you're losing tranny fluid.

OK guys, I came to the conclusion from searching other sites and what not, that it was my tranny that got hit, now what got damaged (I think) was the transmission pan... I was searching for that part but can't find one online anywhere, so I am going to call dealers tomorrow to see if I can get one and the price, does anyone know if this is a easy fix? or should I just take it in? What I need to replace is the tranny pan which looks like it's held on by a bunch of torx screws or something similar... what do you guys think?

What the hell kinda pot hole did you hit, for your car to fall deep enough in there that it slammed the under-neaths of your car....!! christ

That sucks so much man, you should however be able to have that fixed easy? Or it seems like its an easy task... I could be wrong

Does it really look like the oil pan? I was almost convinced it was the transmission pan down the bottom??

The fluid looks like its red all over the bottom, having had a few cars that leak tranny fluid it burns nice, as long as you didnt damage any of the internals of the tranny i think the clearance on the tranny is jsut a simple hot swap, your gonna need to get it flushed before they pull the pan also may want to change the fluid filter on the tranny since its gonna be easier to get too just a thought, In the future dont hit huge F**kin pot holes may want to invest in some HIDS

oil pan strike without doubt and flex pipe on the exhaust,

take a picture of the pot hole and make a claim from the road maintenance company if you have one

ps: looks more like you ran over the kerb/rock rather than a pot hole
