yes... the GIAC is actually a 114 prong chip that takes up to 4 hrs. to put in...

where as the "Dorrito"-as it's called, or APR chip is only 3-sided and can fit perfectly in your mouth is much tastier

I'm sorry, but I just don't know. What is a "DV". I want to eventually get the Flash load of the APR programming. I didn't know anything about a "DV". Someone enlighten me please. [&:]

most people go giac or apr, they are "THE BEST" in most's mind's. i would get the one that fits ur plan better, are you planning on going with more mods down the road? apr is easier/quicker but dont let that be your deciding factor, giac has you send your ecu to them so you pay for: ecu removal, shipping, and ecu reinstall. with apr you pay for ecu removal, soldering and programming, and ecu reinstall. i believe giac doesnt charge for their work, since you paid them for chip. probably comes out near the same if not a little more for giac.

dv-diverter valve, same as blow off but recycles air back thru intake instead of into atmosphere

allright, well first that comment about GIAC taking 4 hrs. ....
dude, i was just fuc|<ing with ya !!!

look, both chips are exactly the same..... it's just a chip they solder onto your ECU (or flash-load )
and one doesn't take any longer than another...

about removing your own ECU and mailing it off.......
like i said earlier... make your decision based on which one is closer.
make an appt. at the shop, go there, it'll take them no more than an hour..

AWE charged me 1 hr. of labor for getting the chip done and a new DV put in while i was in there..

so back to what i asked... "Where in Jersay are you ?"
