My turbo is kinda clicking, when i bought the car it was boosting at like 7, sometimes in 3rd gear it would spike to like 11 and now it wont boost more than 5.Can this be because the wastegate is bad? im trying to make it through the winter so i can upgrade in april, will this make it? or will it just keep dropping until it dies?

 

Did you check for boost leaks?

i installed a fmic, while the bumper was of i sprayed soapy water on all the clamps and avarything was fine, beside the fmic i also have a gfb blow off/diverter valve. but it was boosting fine after the valve instal. If anything it started dropping after the fmic.

 

its the fmic probably. they tend to create a drop in boost and with the low airflow of the k03 your gonna get alot of psi i drop

 

so the drop is normal? i guess thats a good thing but the car has no power its like driving a stock dx civic. i guess i gotta deal with it until my upgrade. its just hard cus every kid out there wants to race cus they see the fmic through the cutout on the bumper.[]

sucks only thing you can really do is take the fmic out or get a bigger turbo, you might be able to run it with a chip but it will still lose boost

 

so the benefits of a fmicare none if you dont have ridiculous amountsboost?

 

If you are only boosting at 4 lbs and you also noticed that seafoam was coming out of the gasket off the turbo its not your fmic. Although it might not help either.
