Opinions of B6 Sport wheels on a B5?
Hey guys,
Whats the consensus on the 5 spoke B6 sport wheel on a silver B5s? I like the RS4s, but a TON of people have them. I'm thinking it could be a semi-unique look. Any opinions on this? I haven't bought them yet, but I'm pretty darn close.
With such an open wheel, I might paint my calipers black or silver...kinda small to paint red...and might do my lowers this summer. But first things first. Any offset problems or spacer issues I'd have to worry about? (I can't imagine there would be...)
Thanks

Personally, I think its one of the best looking styles for the B5. I just wish it came in 18s for it. However, if you drop it with a set of lower profile tires, you can pull off that 18" (best looking size for B5s) look no problem. Make sure measurements are good (I know stock wheels on B5 are 225 width and B6 is 235 so keep that in mind). If all goes well with that...go for it

Haha, yeah CL, I've had your picture on file since you were selling yours. I didn't really have the cash at the time, but I've got a line on a pretty good deal. And oh yeah, they're 17's I'd be buying, not 18s...while I agree 18s are hawt, I'm gonna go with the 17s.
Yeah, the width (225 vs 235) is kinda why I asked. Is this going to be a problem? I prolly don't have the money for a drop right now, but I have the sport suspension, so should be good enough for now.

Jeez, glad I asked...didn't think such a small jump would be cause for concern. I'll be cool as long as I don't drop it, right?
Did they make those wheels in any other sizes? The kid says they came stock off his 02 A4.

I have 235/45/17 on my car, and I lowered a bit and didn't rub much, but I did rub. I think I will sell my tires and buy some 225's this spring.
Heres my car lowered, with 235's.
EDIT: heh, you can see my dads b6 w/ sport in the foreground.
