Default opinnions on borla exhaust owners.....

damn skippy baby! just picked upmy borla exhaust system from UPS today. Yahalot of you guys convinced me to get it. Imissed the deliver time, which turned out to be a sweet deal cause a guy that worked there owned a audi and recommended a tuner shop that i didnt even know i lived by....AWESOME! (just moved here). So i got to thinkin, should i put the resonator on or leave it off and put a 2.5" pipe in its place? Yes, i went with the full 2.5" borla all the way back with downpipe from techtonics. So pretty much everyone that has a borla exhaust, enlighten me on this subject if it is too loud, perfect the way it is, or sounds better with it off....... let me know, thanks

I have the 2.25 inch borla system with resonators... it sounds really good, but is really quiet. I cant really hear anything at all inside the cabin. I wouldnt want it louder though. I say get resonators

depends on how loud you want it. i have a test pipe and a 2.5" pipe in place of the mid muffler and its pretty damn loud. you cant try both. it only takes 10 min to switch it out. you should install the exhaust yourself instead of taking it to the shop. if your not doing a test pipe it is insanely easy to install it. i never worked on mine before and exhaust and dv were done in a little over anhour (test pipe took HOURS)

o ya if you dont have air tools or a sawzall it will take you forever to get the cat to dp bolts off. if you have air tools or a sawzall it wont take more than 30 min to install the test pipe
