I also have a high flow cat with borla catback. Leave the resonators on. Its a deep low growl when your going slow and almost sounds stock but when you get on it DAMN it sounds nice. I have surprised the hell ot of a bunch of ricers who thought they could take me because when they were rolling next to me at 30 with their ear drum piercing lawnmower exhaust I barely made any noise. Till I punched it and you can tell they were like "F*CK!!" Keep the resonators on unless you want the whole world to know you have exhaust ALL THE TIME. Listen to this when I punch it on the straightaway

I have the borla 2.5 Cat back and do have the res on and its perfect. I think it would be too loud for me if it didnt have the res on. Other like their exhausts louder but as said above try both and see.

 

Ditto on the being loud enough. I rolled up to a red light a few days ago and as I was slowly rolling it turned green so I was doing about 15 at this point I downshifted twice (in tip) and hit the gas accelerating pretty quick up to 35-40 well a cop going the opposite direction immediately flipped a b*tch and followed me for 2 miles. That little acceleration was loud enough to catch his attention if I'd have floored it he probably would have pulled me over. Damn cops
