Hey ordered a improved dash light kit from http://www.blauparts.com/parts%20dep...lamp_Bulbs.htm today for my 96 A4 12V. Was wondering if anyone has ever tried these out? think its worth it for $45?

Are you guys talking about how dim it is? I love it. Doesn't kill your eyes in the darklike most cars. Take some b4 and after pics too. i'm interested to see the difference.

 

Got the lights in today, kinda not impressed with the amount of product im getting for such a high price, I can just imagine how much of a profit these people are making off of selling 22 of these little buggers to me. Gonna go out and take some pics later tonight of the before, then take out the cluster and pop in all the lights and put them back in and take some more pics of the after. Hopefully i will be pleased with the results, because otherwise imma be one unhappy camper. Can anyone tell me how to add pictures to this thing? so i can put the pics up once i get them?

NVM not going to be putting the lights into the dash until the earliest date of March 8. Turns out my father took out my tool set from my trunk, and I don't have a set of torx bits any where around me. Not impatient enough to go buy another set. Will update when i finally put them in. also never mind about uploading photos, i think i figured it out.

 

Ok so i got impatient and went out and bought the bit set so i could do the install. had a lil bit of a PITA getting the cluster out but finally got it out. Installed the new bulbs and popped them back in. THEY ******* ROCK! THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

my overall review- I love the lights, but for a little under $50 I find them to be a little pricey. If you can pick up the 2.0 watt bulbs somewhere else for cheaper i def recommend it. Hell i still recommend it if you have a bit of extra cash sitting around. The lights rock!!
