is it original or not
ive got a 99.5 with 106k on it and i bought it at 104k from a small dealer(not audi) how can i find out what services have been done on my car. the timing belt, trans, is it the orignal turbo things like these. I like to know as much about my car as i can that way when it breaks i know where to start lookn

unless you can get your hands on the service records (ie from the previous owner) you are SOL.
However - manually inspecting the timing belt tensioner will give you some idea if it has been changed.
The only problem is that simply getting a look at the tensioner takes nearly as much labor as actually changing it.

well i do know that it was a lease car for the first 50 k so most of the work should have been done at the dealer but i bought the car in florida so if i go to a dealer here will they be able to help me

I got all of the records for my ride at the dealer where it was worked on. They didn't have any problems giving me service records. Just be sure you have your VIN handy. I swear..you need that damn VIN to do anything with Audi dealers...

do you think any dealers would give out the info over the phone??? my car spent the first 80k miles of its life across the country in....new jersey i believe. i have the original service booklet that has the oil change chart thing and it's stamped with a dealership's name and address.
