For the record: we narrowed it down to 3 separate vaccum hoses . . . going to replace all three. I'll keep you posted--thanks for everyone's help!
BTW, Doose--what part of Indy? I grew up in Plainfield . . . folks still live there, sister's in Speedway, brother is IFD . . .

You may want to consider buying porche vacuum hose lines. The Audi stuff is crappy. I've had mine become brittle after 2 months. konboy22, I can't find the diagram. [:@]
