Good, its a dual pulley. So what do you think dave? Water pump pulley/bearing is bad because the water pump won't move.

what adjusts the tension on the belt from the power steering pump to the water pump I sprayed belt dressing on that belt and the water pump is spining but the tension is still not correct and the car is not overheating anymore...

and by the way, if you dont have first hand expirence in what im asking about dont post please... I can troubleshoot without knowing how it works just as well as you can, I posted asking how it works if you dont know... then your no help raise your post count in another thread

UMMMMM what? Its really very, very simple on how to adjust the belt. The water pump is not gonna move because its held down to the block with several large bolts, so...........considering its only run by the power steering pump then the power steering pump is the thing that tensions it.
But wait! "The tension on the other belt is tight waaaaaaaa" is what your gonna tell me because you too stupid to understand what i have been telling you this whole time.
So now you try to attack me, do you even know who the hell your talking to? Im one of the most highly certified technicians on the entire west coast with more hands on experience than you can shake a stick at. I can't remember every damn little detail, so now im not gonna help you and i hope no one else does because your too ignorant to listen what we have to say anyway. The answer to your problem has already been posted, if you can't figure it out, then...................
