Default Oxygen Sensor Replacement Help - P0135 Fault Code

Good Morning all,

I just bought at 2003 A4 1.8T and after about 200 miles i got a CEL and after scanning it iwth an Global OBDII I got a fault code:
P0135
O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 1)

Now.. the questions I have regarding this are :
Do I really need to replace my O2 sensor?

If yes... How can I determine it's location in the engine?
Also, Is this a job I can do myself? Is there a reference I can find the location of it in the engine somehow and possibly some instructions as to what steps I need to take to replace it.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Is there a lot of work required to replace it in terms or taking the engine apart?

Are there schematics I can find anywhere?

just take it out and clean it with intake cleaner for now. then clear the code and it should come back but keep clearing the code a few times and it might go away.

Cleaning will not help the heating circuit.
