I have a 2003 Certified A4 Dolphin Gray that has a significant amount of scratches. Anyone know what it would cost to get these taken care of? Anything from simple scratch repair to a complete Dolphin Gray paint job. Any advice or info would be great.

depends how deep they are...

 

Some are very light, but long (looks like a shovel accident from a bad winter) and some are deeper but shorter (something else).

 

it would be alot. a hood respray is 400$

 

but it would look pretty much brand new afterwards?

 

yeah it should. take it to the dealer and have the paint guy look at it.

but on a more helpful note: check out the Autopia website. They have DIYs for all kinds of detailing problems from how to polish a badly oxidized car to fixing scratches.

 

yep, sounds like they are gonna have to either sand down the spots and fill the scrathes with filler... or strip the paint off and do a full respray

 

I'll try and get some pics on here, but in the mean time, what would something like redoing the entire car cost? I'm not saying I am willing to do it, but just for informational purposes? I am talking about an official Audi Dolphin Gray paint job.
