well i got my car couple weeks ago..its a 2001 a4 1.8t manual..silver..and right now im on a tight budget since i go to school and work as much as i can squeeze in during the week..butt...my friends dad has some guy who painted his truck after they keyed it and i passed by to see and he quoted me on 140 bucks to paint my lowers ...buut i rlly wanted to get the forge 007 so soon i can save up and get Revo. wat do u guys think? i also had HID headlights in mind so its either those 3...by the way i got the windows tinted ..bought an autometer boost gauge and did a custom intake with custom heatshield..the steering column gauge pod is in the mail from ecs tuning..cant wait to get it..i aslo have 18x8 silver mesh wheels that are waiting on tires to get installed but i got that covered ..so watcha guys think? here are some pics of the car

hey. looks nice. I like the mods you've done so far.

 

I say get the lowers done now while you can get a deal on them. You don't want to wait, get the DV etc, and then have to pay $350 for lowers a year from now.

get a giac chip

 

Paint the lowers. You dont really need a new DV until you get a chip. Go GIAC or APR for your car. Revo+B5's dont mix.

 

if you paint the lowers let me know and post some pics i have been debating about this myself, plus that price isn't bad i would jump on it, but im always the guy waiting for good deals then takes advantage of them when i can, like seriously post some pics if you do it

 

I agree paint the lowers for a good price then when you get chipped do the dv too.. those to mods go hand in hand

 

ya i say get the lowers. u can get the dv when ur planning on getting the chip. and if i were u i would just watch the classifieds and wait for a cheap 007 to come up and snipe that bitch
