I painted my calipers the other day. I love doin easy diy's. I need to think of some more to do. Any suggestions?

Did you paint the lower parts of your car yourself? What prep does the plastic need? I was thinking of doing mine.

Pretty quick job. That lighting isn't that good. They are much more noticeable in the sunlight.

Paul: Yeah I painted my lowers myself. Sand and use adhesion promoter for primer.

 

did you take the caliper's off to paint them?? or did you do it by covering everything up and painting it that way?

 

You use a brush to paint them so you can leave them on and you don't really have to mask anything off as long as your careful.

 

i was planning to do such a thing.. do u think ti would look good on these babys??

what did u use for paint? Did u add an audi decal?

 

go with glossy black, then add those audi rings decals, thats what im doing this weekend. I wouldnt paint them red unless your looking to drive the car into the ground, mostly becasue of resale values, modded cars dont sell for much
