...Would it be noticeable and worth while to paint the lowers on my black B5? If anyone has pics, they would be greatly appreciated.

i think it would be very noticable. black magic makes the lowers look good from a far but it still doesn't have that shine that brilliant black paint gives off..

just compare a black S4 rear with your rear and you'll see the difference.. i want to paint my rear lower, but im going to get S4 sides and front first

 

If you're going to pay someone to do it, I'd save the money for something better because its not really going to be too much of a difference, in my opinion.

 

If my car was black I would not waste the money on painting my lowers instead throw it down performance mods because it is gonna be hard to notice your lowers are painted especially when moving.

 

I had my whole car resprayed,and asked them to paint the lower of the front and rear bumper... It looks disgusting!



I wouldn't paint the middle parts though, i tried that and fucked them up so bad... taking them off in general is a bad idea since they are so old the rubber is deteriorated. That costed me ALOT of money(400-600, dont remember), expecially for that rubber peice that says 'audi' on it when u open up the door

Are you talking about the door sills cuz mine look like brushed aluminum not rubber. What are you talking about?

 

dont paint ur black lowers, like everyone else is saying its pointless.....either save up money to get a body kit or invest in performance....its as simple as that....i know because my friend had a black a4 and at first wanted to paint his lowers, but was smart enough to forget it and go on to do better things to the car....my $.02

 

if done right, they will look real good, you can't just spray them like the rest of the car.. wich is probably why that guys came out bad.. you need to prep the properly
