Painting bottem molding of car???
I was wondering how people paint the bottem black molding on our A4s? I was looking at some pictures & it just makes the car look alot smoother and more defined. Do i have to take these off & have then custom painted at a body shop or is there some other way to do this. Also, do they just sell the bottem molding already painted on certain websites?
We did it, and we added S4 door fins too. They should be taken off to paint. Best thing you can do is make friends with the Audi body shop guys for a good paint match. See what exterior things we did with our 2002 A4 at AudiA4Mods.com
You may also want to invest in some OEM mud flaps....seeing little rock chips. When you get them painted we recommend having them can up a little extra touch up paint for you!

Started it late last year? I know about A4Mods.com, and we link out to them too! They are more into the turbo stuff, we cover more of the 3.0 stuff. The 3.0's are harder to find parts for, so we share what we learn. The 3.0 is a great motor, just not alot of stuff available to upgrade. I am also good friends with Matt my local Audi tech, so he gives us a lot of advice as well.
You are not a jerk BTW, you are an Audi lover, as we are too! If you were a BMW guy however.... LOL
