Anybody ever think of painting their bottom panels a different color other than to match their car? I was thinking, since Im putting on my black wheels/polish lip on this weekend on my Silver B5....I was going to match my bottom panels with my wheels and paint those black w/ clear coat finish...

What do you guys think? Tacky?, try it out? either way, I can just paint over it if I dont like it, but give me your thoughts...

why not paint them to match the car, the black stuff already looks like crap.

the wheels will probably be different than the rest of the car, so that's the contrast you are looking for right there

Yes I've been drinking. And My tail lights are smoked out as well. Thanks
