Default parking mod

So I got home late last night around 1, and no spots anywhere near my house. I live in Baltimore so city parking sucks at night. Circled a few blocks and still nothing. So I ended up parking right near my house behind a no parking sign. Went inside grabbed a chair and a few wrenches and took the sign down. Now I have one more spot close to my place.

Materials:

Socket Wrench
Adjustable Wrench
Metal Epoxy
4 Strong Magnets

1) Park car in clearly labelled NO PARKING area.

2) Standing on a chair or ladder, remove two bolts securing sign to pole, using one adjustable wrench, and one Socket Wrench.

3) Using the metal epoxy attach 4 magnets (more depending on how windy your city is) to the back of the sign along the same line as where the pole would be. Also attach one of the bolts from the face of the sigh through it sticking out of the back.

4) When leaving spot, attach sign to pole by placing the bolt through the highest hole on the pole you can reach and allowing the magnets to do their job. LOOSELY screw nut onto bolt to ensure the sign will not fall on someones car in the event of strong winds.

You now have your own private parking spot!

Thats good stuff right there. Would be even better if you put it back up when you leave so the spot is always there for you.

Yeah I had been wanting to take the sign down for a while, so I guess I finally got the motivation. I also cant put it up in my garage, because if I had a garage I wouldnt of had to take the sign down. Ill post pics later so it can be a true DIY.

also when or if you get a parking ticket, just cover the sign where you're parked under and send them a picture. put some like spray panit or something like that over it, send them a picture and viola, no ticket.
