Default Parts finally here

Well boys the car is going in next wednesday for some work finally that my parts are here.

-Fuel filter
-Panzer skid plate
-VDO Boost gauge

Anyone else here have a dieselgeek skid plate? Is it a pretty straight forward install?

Up in Igloo Country we have snow for 6 months of the year and I happened to rip mine off last year so figured why not replace it with something a little more heavy duty. I love winter driving and theres no way better to go 4X4'ing then in an Audi haha

The boost gauge should be a relatively simple install as theres quite a few writeups, i'm just a tad worried about that buzzzzzzzzz but I guess we'll have to see.

TIB & TBB are next just not sure if i can justify spending almost double for a "Forge" or "Apr" stamp on it...then GIAC-X in the spring!

cool, good to hear

Now, do most people block off their air duct behind the gauge? A guy at work said the constant blowing on the back of the gauge will **** it up?

Thanks.

I don't have mine blocked off and have never had a problem. Not sure why it would mess it up either.
