Hey guys I know this is going to **** you off so I apologize in advance. I was wondering if it is possible to run PC-16 software with a GT2X turbo? I would obviously get all the injectors, etc, etc needed for pc-16.

 

I don't know. It's not the software made for that turbo. Why wouldn't you just get the suggested/required software?

 

why would it **** us off? The Pc16 is probably a good match to that turbo.

 

i wouldn't do it, but a gt2x isn't too far off from a k04 so it might work. try calling someone up who works at giac or a giac dealer and ask them what they think about it

 

It will work, the file will regulate the pressure to it's limits. But if you want the power that the gt2x can deliver you should get the tuning for it.

if you dont have the pc-16 file then you cant get it anymore. GIAC discontinued that file as well as the hammer file for newer b5 models. I talked to someone last week at AWE about it. They said (at least for the 2001b5 model) that the K04 file software has been updated and upgraded for a more aggressive file.

 

i think there is the same thred on audizine.com in the b5 a4 section

try to find it if it is there and read that
