Ok so i have a decision to make. Right now i have a 98.5 A4 1.8TQM. I've already got a k04, intake, test pipe, and exhaust for it. My plans after i got money from working and christmas was to get the GIAC pc-16 file. My future plans are to get an s4 and go all out with it. So should i put all this money into the a4 or just start saving up for s4 now and leave the a4 the way it is. Logic tells me to just start saving up for the s4 but im just not satisfied with the power of my a4 and want to make it faster and THEN start saving for the s4. pc-16 is going to cost me around 1500 total so thats another 1500 towards the s4 if i just stop now. what do you guys think?

 

Depends on how far ahead in the future you will be able to get the s4. Everyone always says "S4!" but im saying pc16 this time. Pc16=tq factory and i dont see how anyone can complain with near 300hp/300tq. Well, anyone except for arif! Save the S4 money to invest in somehting that doesnt depreciate imo, and youll still have a fast *** car with the pc16.

 

i posted s4 but i do agree w/ 0ne, k04 w/ pc-16 is a monster. i would highly recommend that for now

 

how far into the future the s4 comes depends on my scholarships. if i can keep them, then by junior year i'd get the s4 (im a freshman now). pc-16 sounds amazing but an s4 w/ k04's just makes me explode in my pants. im just worried that i will tire of pc-16 eventually. also does anyone know where i can find dyno results for pc-16 or anyone know of the exact numbers for whp and tq?

 

I'd do whats logical for the time being. PC-16 will get you by, and if you have to drive the car for 2 years, you might as well enjoy it a little more.

 

w/ fmic injectors pc-16 etc, i have seen dyno w/ 280hp (225awhp) w/ something like 300ft/lbs of torque @ the wheels
