It would be good to replace the timing belt at 120,000 if it was last replaced at 60,000. It should be done about every 65,000 to be safe.

I just found out that my mom thought the blue book value was more then it really is so now i might just make an even trade with her and have her sell the neon or trade it in. Is this still a good idea?

I don't really think you understand what your getting into getting an A4. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my car...but it's not a car that people can seem to get in and just drive everyday without any issues. Between timing belts and airbag lights, they like attention. Especially if your going to be modding the car. While your hp may increase your driveability and reliablity will decrease. If you don't know how to work on your own stuff it's going to get expensive for you real quick.

Neons arent very reliable for their part either...the only difference is Dodge service cost a lot less than Audi service really, lol
