I just run the all season tires (Zexius tires, can't remember the number right now). They do great! great control when you need it and when you want to do some drifting in the snow just hit the gas. No need to worry about wearing studs down or anything.

I got Pirelli SottoZero 235/45/17 the ride is a lot smoother just owns the snow and ice. Really Really love them they cost me $1400 from tire rack and install with shipping etc. Well worth the money IMO!! Will never go with any other tire for winter! Personal preferance!

I ran wintersport M3's all last winter up snowboarding, and all summer (too poor for summer tires/wheels ) and they did awesome in the snow. I had to try pretty hard to lose traction.

those tires look horrible compared to Blizzak, wintersport M3's,or Michelin X-ICE snow tires.. and are horribly overpriced due to run flat feature

I dont think they look horrible its everyones opinion for themselves right Personnally I think the tires look real mean and it makes them stand out I love it. check out the pics of my car with them on on the thread "NEW PICTURES!!! Check it out!!! a4 1.8t" those are the tires and they look sweet IMO!!! Yeah they are pricy but if I were to go to the cheapest one it would have ran me at $1000 so I decided the extra 400 is well worth the cost! I saved $400 from what the dealer wanted! They wanted 370$per tire and than install and all this worked out to like 1800$ so i still saved money and the tires are awesome!

It's going to be my first winter with my quattro as well!! I cannot wait to test her out! The Blizzak LM-25s are great but the WS-50s will give you better control in snow - as someone already mentioned. Good luck and happy buying!

i got some crappy sigmas or what ever the hell came with the rims i bought. they had about 80% thread when i bought them and had the M&S rating so ill see how they perform. im so pissed that i couldnt afford the the eagle F1s i had when i bought the car and the dunlops on my previous. im pretty much running all seasonals but these a crap load better then tha Khumo crap i bought when i had S4 rims on my old car.
