yeah, but if he went with the 01 1.8tqms he would have 170 hp

more than the 150 so fewer mods would get him the same place or further, probably less miles, and nicer looking car, unless he bought it from a person that doesn't drive much or takes really good care of his car

and sorry to thread jack, but all 00 and 01 are ndbw? is that what you are saying?

 

All 00 and later are throttle by wire.

 

But the chip on the 170 engine brings you about the same as the 50 hP engine with chip.

 

thanks guys, helps alot. but i cant afford a 01 like that. im on a tighter budget. mods come as money comes. car needed now/first
