what else can i add with my giac chip to notice some modest gains....im basically talking about bolt on pieces that i can add besides upgrading to a k04. ive got a 99 1.8.

 

most notible is what Arif did.
but I would think headers and Cold ait intake, maybe cams. you know basic stuff.

yea I think a borla or similar exhaust with the chip brings out the most in our cars with out going with a diff turbo thats your best bet

 

i wouldnt necessarily call headers and cams "basic stuff". but ya, dont get a new intake, modify the one u have and get a K&N filter. id go with a test pipe(atp) and a dv. maybe injectors

 

well i have the 710n dv just havent installed it yet, and as far as exhausts go....what are some of the better ones out there? not necessarily the most expensive ones... although im sure ill end up doing the k04 at some point..
