Pes Supercharger performance
I am up really thinking about getting the supercharger but can someone give me an idea of what type of performance you will gain from this. I know that is makes 290 hp but how does this relate to qtr mile times and how does it compare to other cars such as the s4 and a stock lancer or sti. I wasnt looking to by the 2.8 for performance but why not try and squeeze as much speed as possible out of this thing

the B5 S4s, Evos, and STis are all turboed so u cant really compare. wit a supercharger u got no lag which is nice but wit out that lag u might just smoke your tires on the launches. i perfere a turbo though becasue its more efficent becasue it uses a wasted energy (exhaust) and dont take up too much as much as a supercharger thats always spulling and using the engine as a sourse of power

You will not smoke your tires with the PES on launch if you have a quattro - believe me.
But the gains are signifcant and you will be able to compete with the big boys.

Evo and STi? dream on! there little that can catch these two cars, and the have gobs and gobs of potential. they each run 7psi of boost and can take 24psi. Ive seen stock evo's with 19.5 psi turning 400+ hp on the 4 wheel dyno. You cant compare an audi to these cars.
But with the addition of a supercharger you will go 100 Smiles per hour. What year is your Audi? One more thing, superchargers dont spool, they wind.[ and there so much more efficient than turbochargers. I wish audi would have made a 2.8 with the supercharger already on it. I would have bought that one.

Guy if you interested in a the Supercharger then you need to check out this forum that specialises in the PES kit plus someone is selling there G2 kit (only been on the car for a month before someone crashing to the side of it).
