Default Phone port- WTF?

Hello,

I recently got some work done on my A4 B5 in Ontario. When I brought the car in everything in the interior was fine. When I got it back, I noticed the top of my arm rest was coming apart. I also noticed that there was a phone jack in the arm rest... funny thing is, there was never a phone jack there before (there is no way I was driving and cleaning this car for 3 years and not noticed this- I am certian of it). [:@]

I called the shop, and they obviously don't know anything about it. How do I verfiy that my car did not come with a car port?

Thanks.

the data shows if you have the bluetooth port installed which is in the arm rest so its possible the arm rest has been recovered and hiding the phone port and some did come with it

Yes they all came with a port in the armrest. Its always been there, you were just too drunk to notice during your detail jobs for the last 3 years. Im certain of it.
Did you actually think some shop would plant a phone jack in your arm rest for fun?

funny post.

I was cleaning my car the other day, in the trunk, and I noticed the trunk floor was a little loose, and some silver thing was flipped up.
So, I grabbed the piece, and lifted up, and Whoa!!!!! there was a whole compartment under there with a tire inside!
I just had new tires put on the car, so I am wondering if you guys think the tire shop rigged my trunk, and put a 5th wheel and tire in there.
There's no way I've swept out this trunk for 10 years and never noticed it before!
