i'm not messing with my speakers, i like the bose sound...i did attempt to replace my front lower speakers (as both are blown)...but unfortunately i got scammed on aw by what was apparently a fairly well known scammer....
...the thing i can't get past is that they are so expensive because they're "Bose", yet the speakers are Nokia brand....[sm=dontgetit.gif]

yeah the bose are supposed to be tight, just underpowered... adding a real speaker amp would do the trick -- not if they're blown though.
I dont know if these are bose or not... I dont think they are, but who knows. I remembered the bose fronts being smaller, like 3.5" up front, in my dads 96.

thanks shok, i emailed the seller about part numbers off the back of the speakers, hopefully they'll match up....my front speakers are 4.5", so hopefully those will work and the bidding won't get out of control...
Heh, they are in canada... the bidding will prolly be pretty low. Same guy is selling a CD changer, 13pin that'd fit your car... if you dont have one. "view sellers other items" if your interested, its also at 1.25 right now.
i've got my stock changer....do you know if it's possible to relocate it into the glove box?? that would be awesome...i'm too lazy to get out of my car, walk aaaallll the way around to the back of my car, open up the trunk, press the eject button...blah blah blah, that's way too much work for me....i think i've changed the CDs in there once since i got my car....
Haha, my CD's are still trapped in my changer, cause I forgot to take them out! Umm, as for your relocation... I'd imagine it'd fit... the tricky part would be the wire. I'd find an effing totalled 96, and yank the changer wire out of it... then run the newly aquired wire into the glove box. This way, if you get into any difficulties, or ever want to change it back to stock... you still have the stock wire, right where you left it... AND you dont have to tear YOUR car apart chasing the wire -- you can tear the totalled car apart!
But yes, it's a sound plan.
Next on my short agenda... XM radio, and finally install my frickin changer!

this summer i'm going to be working 50hr+ weeks so i should be able to get everything i want done to my car after about two months...
first my right tie rod end and front inner cv joints
install my snub mount (i was a jackass and didn't get it done, this was the second tb change)
allroad tranny mounts, i think mine are getting soft
rear sway bar
custom exhaust, changing it to a single cat setup, i'm thinking 2.5", but i haven't researched recommended diameters yet
suspension
ecodes, then i'm done....maybe
