the ones i got are a real shiny black. i do like red also though.

you cant see them because of the stock housing that covers them.

I just pulled mine off and etch primed them, then primed, then painted then clearcoated. It took about four hours...to do just the painting and what not. I painted them yellow.....goes good with dark blue. It really is not a big deal, just make sure and use high heat materials.

 

got pics? i'd like to see them in yellow ... been thinking about doing that.
