sandnsnow, yes, those are the oe fogs
sandman, i'll try to do that today if i get off work early enough
BRRMAN! haven't seen you online for a while...did you follow the audiworld writeup for the independent control mod? i tried to use it and it didn't work...it DID, however, cost me about 2.5 hours of cutting, splicing, and soldering to put it all back together [:@]

heh yeah. I just bought a house among other things going on.
anyway - I sent you a pm, but for anyone else interested I might as well post the reply below....

Well, on my old sedan ('98) I did splice wires and had it working that way.
I don't have any pics of the wiring I did up back then, but i got it to work (though I remember it being confusing)
With my 2000 I took out the relay behind the glove box and took it apart. I cut off three specific tabs and soldered wire between them so that power automatically passed from one tab to the other via the new wire. Before it would have to go out of one tab (which was for the headlights, before it would run power to the fogs tab)
When I say tab I mean a metal tab that is used for the plug - the relay had a lot of tabs that made up the plugging mechanism.
Here are some pics - I am not sure if you have this relay or not. The soldering could have been more eloquent, but I had limited tools and materials...
